Ever have trouble sleeping?

I have had trouble sleeping for a very long time.   What I find helpful is my diffuser and my favourite Essential Oils.

For me Vetiver and Lavender, 1 drop of each on the bottom of each foot before bed and 2-3 drops of Lavender and 1 drop of Vetiver in my diffuser.  This helps me to calm down and shut off my mind.  I find as soon as I get in bed, my mind wakes up.  I think about what I did, what I should have done, what I shouldn’t have done and then I think about it all over again.  With my oils, I have found I am able to shut off my thinking.  For some more fun I add a drop or 2 of Balance to my feet and diffuser!

Sleep is so important in order to be the best you can be.

  • Sometimes I put a drop or two on the collar of my pajamas and I find the smell close to my nose to be very soothing.

    • That is an excellent idea! It would be a great idea for children too. A drop of Lavender on their collar before bed would be so restful. If they are having trouble breathing, using a drop of Breath/Easy Air would be a great idea too. I put a couple of drops on my pillow too but the pajamas is always close to your nose!
